BIG LIE #1: Ramsey experienced a costly ransomware breach in September 2021.

FACTS:

-
The 7 residents were notified and offered a special call line, identity monitoring, credit monitoring and identity fraud reimbursement. In other words, the Borough acted out of an abundance of caution to inform individuals of a potential risk and ensure their protection.

-
None of the 7 residents used the call line or activated any of the offered protection services. In other words, no data was actually compromised. The D&C campaign are still having trouble comprehending this fact.

-
The contract awarded for the replacement of computer servers and related equipment for the Borough Hall and the Ramsey Police Department; resolution 043-2021, was discussed in the January 27, 2021 Mayor and Council meeting. 8 months before the ransomware breach! See pages 3, 26, and 27 for details.

As shown in the linked documents, all of which were obtained via Open Public Record Requests, Jennifer Crandall was provided proof of all of the above in June of 2024.
BIG LIE #2: "Outside IT companies" contacted the Borough to offer their services in response to the breach.

FACTS:

-
As Global Account Manager to Atlantic Tomorrow's Office, Jennifer Crandall has also quietly solicited business from the Ramsey Board of Education.

It would appear that Jennifer Crandall has no issue with no-bid contracts...so long as SHE is the beneficiary.

It also appears that our opponents have committed a serious breach of trust by failing to disclose
Ms. Crandall's financial interest in this issue in their campaign materials, on their campaign website,
or to any of the many residents with who they have spoken over the last month,
until they were called out on it on social media. Make no mistake, Ms. Crandall was personally involved.
