A Century of Republican Leadership!

Do you love Ramsey? It has been a century of consistent Republican that has shaped who we are today.

Once again, our opponents are trying to mislead you.

In New Jersey, a Borough, is one of the five types of municipal government structures where the Council votes and the Mayor presides.

The Mayor serves a four-year term and the six Council members serve staggered three-year terms.

The Mayor votes only to break ties but has veto power, although the Council can override a veto with a two-thirds majority. The Council acts as the legislative body, passing ordinances, approving budgets, and making policy decisions. The Council may appoint subordinate officers and create various municipal departments.

As we stated, for the past 96 of 100 years, common-sense Republicans have controlled the Governing Body of Ramsey, and it is their leadership, and ours, that has helped make Ramsey one of the most desirable communities to live in today.
