JAKE ENGLISHMAN

A lifelong Ramsey resident, Jake Englishman is married and has dedicated much of his career to public safety, emergency management, and serving his community. He currently serves as Coordinator of the Ramsey Office of Emergency Management and works professionally in emergency management for New Jersey’s largest public transportation agency/ Police Department. His experience includes emergency preparedness, community resilience, public communication and outreach, and coordinating with public safety agencies and community partners.

 

Jake previously served as a Ramsey Police Dispatcher and continues to volunteer within the Borough. In addition to his public safety background, he has years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial asphalt paving, property maintenance, and municipal snowplowing. He earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Homeland Security and Counterterrorism from Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU).
